The cost changes in today’s construction market are drastic! We have seen prices plummet from January 2008 to December 2008 by wide margins. We are seeing the same from December 2008 to today. If you are building multiple projects, do not just award them on prices developed two months ago, go out for new bids. You should receive lower prices today. I would expect this condition to hold for at least six month to nine months – through 2009.
